A Note
Dear Baby Eva,
It is such a shame that we haven't given you a gift yet. We wanted to say we are sorry and make an excuse: technical problems. Someone is a first time crocheter and made these booties that turned out 4 times too big for a wee princess as yourself. So you'll have to wait a bit longer.

As adorable as those are, I'm sure she doesn't mind waiting at all. :) We are just sad that it's been so long since we have seen you all. Can't wait to catch up this weekend FINALLY.

A first-time crocheter made those darling booties?? Very impressive! I could hardly make a blanket with straight lines. Did you use some kind of tutorial to learn?

I got a couple books from the library, but I think you could find something online. Youtube would be good.

you can learn how to follow most patterns.
That is probably no help. Do you have friend who knows how? That would be the best!
Already knowing how to knit helped me.
