What does a Yak have to do with hygiene?

Eric Carle

This "Yickity-Yak" who is "sniggildy-snaggildy" and covered with "shiggildy-shag", brought my prompting home. Leyla is now determined to toughen up, not fuss and be diligent about her daily hair brushing - lest she look like him.

Thank you, Yak.

My other baby

She is officially my baby by 1 minute. Now she's 4! (Or as she says "fur".) She is a funny girl and doesn't mind a bit when she's chuckled at. One of her best silly traits is how she mixes up word usage. Like calling the beauty mark by her eye a "bookmark".
Love you, sweet Chlo bug.

Irish Cowboy... (huh?)

Whatever. But he sure is cute. He thinks he's big, too, just turning 4 and all. He informed me that next year I won't be able to hold him anymore.
He just got home from a 6 day trip to AR. Mommy thought he was definitely too young for that - even if he was going to Grandma and Grandpa's.
Sorry, bud, you will always be my baby.

(Is this how "Mama's boys" come into existence? Hopefully his dad isn't noticing.)

Little Miss Moffitt

Sat on a tuffet,
eating her curds and whey;

There came a big spider,
who sat down beside her
And frightened Miss Moffitt away.
