Dear ones....we have been praying and are deeply saddened at your incredible loss of this precious one you were hoping to hold, love and raise for the Lord. It is an emptiness only the Lord Himself can fill and comfort, but wanted you to know you are being held up with love & prayer across the nation! We love you all, John & Jan

We think of you often throughout everyday since Jan 2nd. Our prayers go up to the Gentle Shepherd who tenderly loves and guides even the smallest of His sheep.
We are reminded of the song by Michael W. Smith: "Hello, Goodbye". "A place where you can smile, and I can see you for more that just awhile. Sweet child of mine, I'll see you on the other side."
Much love in Him!

So sorry for your loss Jenica. We will be praying for you and your sweet family as you mourn your loss and look to Jesus for comfort.
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Heb. 11:1 This verse was a great comfort to us when we lost our eighth child last year. I blogged about it in November of 08 I found it strangely helpful to share my heart, broken and torn, into bits and peices, and somewhere in blogland, it helped me make sense of such a senseless thing. But take heart, He really does make EVERYTHING beautiful in His time.
Love because of Jesus, Jess

Jenica, I wasn't expecting this kind of update - but then, who is? I am so very sorry for your loss, I will be praying for your family, and I am glad you have felt support and glimmers of joy (beautiful wording, by the way) in the midst of the sadness. You are loved, your family is loved, and Daisy Lou is loved.
