Leyla is loving her birthday baking book.

But like all aspiring bakers, she sometimes gets frustrated.

And disappointed.

And exasperated.

Especially, when she adds 1 1/2 cups of vanilla instead 1 1/2 teaspoons.

Poor girl. I know the feeling.

But with some of failure

and lots of practice

comes sweet chocolate-chip-muffin

success!

Oh, the 1 1/2 cups of vanilla had me laughing out loud! What a sweet girl. She is getting so grown up!

Good for you Layla! The muffins look sooo yummy. Johnny and I are wishing we could have one right now. :)
Love the new camera Jenica. Such a sweet man you have to buy you one. How are you liking it so far? Have you begun any classes yet?
Hope to see you soon!

On one of my first baking experiences I put one cup of salt into the cookie dough instead of one teaspoon. Laura R.
