Good Morning!
Our second week of school is about to begin.
The first week went just fine, good actually. It's a bit of a relief to have more structure after carefree summer days.
One of my favorites aspects of homeschooling is togetherness. Parent-child togetherness and sibling togetherness.

I'm getting glimpses of why my mom said teaching her children at home was the hardest thing she's ever done. I'm so glad the Lord's strength is available and He is ready to help even when it come to 2+2=4.

Looks great Jenica! I agree with your moms assessment of home schooling.

Love the stack of all the books too! I recognize many of them from Sonlight. It is such a gift to be able to teach at home. I am SO thankful for all the great resources.

Have a great week!

It's a joy to my heart to see you teaching your young'uns. I smile when I remember you and your siblings both at your house and at "Jenny School."

BTW, I just ran across a copy of a paper you wrote for me -- Economics, I believe. I used it as a sample (a good one, of course) of what I wanted my students this year to produce!

Wow! It looks like you guys are so organized and having a lot of fun!
I'm also realizing this is really hard. We tried to learn to count from 10-20 today. I thought..."this will be a piece of cake".
I had no idea....
