Before
Sponge curlers seem to be a Saturday night ritual.
Her mama did the same thing when she was little.
After
All ready for church.
Yes, her glasses are a necessity, not a accessory -says her reliable uncle Optometrist. (Thanks for the daisies, Sophie!)

Your curls look adorable, Leyla! Loved seeing them a few weeks ago!
And your glasses and daisies are simply delightful!
I tried curlers this Sunday, too, and they worked quite well. Thanks for the idea! :)
Blessings!

super cute curls! Ruth and I did the same thing, every Saturday night. But man, did they hurt to sleep on...hope they are softer than they used to be.
What a doll! I so remember doing the sponge curlers too - I always felt so "pretty" when my hair was all curly. Love the daisy necklace and pin too!
Cute, cute!! :) I've noticed Leyla's curls and she looks quite adorable...well, all your kiddos look adorable all the time anyway. :) Sadly, my hair doesn't curl very well, not unless I use a curling iron and two or three sprays of hairspray on every curl.

P.S. Leyla is doing great with her lines in the play! She is so enthusiastic. :)
Leyla is sooo beautiful! I love her glasses. She is very smart and they fit her well. I also love the daisies! So precious for her to able to wear a reminder of her baby sister. Love you all so much!
Her glasses are so cute on her!
We always did rags instead of curls, but I loved having curly hair. It's fun to feel pretty. :)
I like the details on the wall behind Leyla too!
she is such a cutie jenica! she takes after her mama:)
Very fashionable glasses! I want a pair like that!
Thankfully I don't have to curl Sadie's hair, but keeping it from looking like a rat's nest is another thing.
I agree, your kids always look so cute!
Beautiful.....
